Google Messenger has been one of the best im applications for decades. Edition 9.0 presented a whole coordinator of new functions, especially in assistance for movie and picture hyperlinks.
One of the more exciting extras is the movie support: When you insert in a movie hyperlink from YouTube and identical movie websites, the hyperlink is copied and pasted in--and then the movie immediately seems to be in the talk. This is a awesome touching, though the inline movie is very small and can't be resized. This function also operates with hyperlinks to photographs. Not having to press on a preferred hyperlink in order to "see" it in talk is a great thing.
One function presented in the last few decades is the capability to IM back and forth with customers of a contending services, Windows Stay Messenger. This capability, while useful, would be even better if it also granted cross-chat with the very well-known AOL Immediate Messenger, a.k.a. AIM.
